With beautiful scenery everywhere you look up here, its hard to not enjoy yourself to the max!! If your up for some more sightseeing and tours, reception here at the BIG4 can organise all your bookings for you. The staff are super friendly and with a tonne of local knowledge, they will point you and your family in the right direction.

The beaches around Port Douglas are absolutely stunning!! They are exactly what you picture when you think,”Tropical North Queensland”. White sand, palm trees and turquoise waters surround you, the atmosphere is Epic! The main beach has a Surf Club and a patrolled swimming area where you can safely enjoy the beautiful blue water. Four mile beach is another famous beach in town which is the perfect place for a stroll or bike ride along the sands.

The centre of town is a hive of activity with shops, cafes, galleries and pubs. Bec was absolutely in her element taking hours each day to stroll through out the array of clothes shops. If you are coffee lovers like we are, then you are definitely spoilt for choice in Port Douglas. Our top 2 picks for a great brew are “The Little Larda” and “Sparrow Coffee”. Both these joints made a wicked cappuccino that got us buzzing.

Port Douglas is a holiday destination that won’t disappoint. With something for everyone, it’s somewhere i can see us coming back to time and time again over the coming years. With a few more weeks to explore the Tropical North, we are excited to see what comes next on our travel Adventures!!
