It all started when…

On our first Lap of Australia in 2016, we made a rookie mistake of heading north from the Sunshine Coast, Qld in January. Now that might not seem like such a huge mistake right?? But what you need to know is, we had 3 kids under 3 years old at the time!!! It’s a fantastic time of year to be up north, but it can be quite unbearable when your free camping in a caravan with limited battery power and only one 12 volt fan.

What we ended up doing was hopping from one caravan park to the next on powered sites just so we could be comfortable. In doing this, we missed out on camping at loads of Amazing places because we weren’t equipped to handle the conditions.

This situation 3.5 years ago is what led us to start researching and planning to one day fit a power system to our caravan that enables us to pull up anywhere we like around Oz and use all the creature comforts of home!!
