NRMA – MERIMBULA BEACH HOLIDAY PARK

There are some terrific caravan parks around the country and we have been to a heap of them in our time on the road. This one ticks all the boxes and is a really enjoyable and scenic destination, and well worth checking out if your on the south coast of NSW.

Its got everything you need for the kids to have a great time, and everything the parents need to chill out and enjoy the holiday as well. If your happy to just hang out at the park there is heaps of activities for the kids with a kids club that is run every day of the peak season. There is playgrounds, Rec rooms, Jumping pillow, Water park and a resort style pool and kiddy pool. On top of all this, the park has its own cafe located at reception, and it does a great coffee and an awesome bacon and egg roll.

The views from the parks grounds are amazing and you look straight out into the ocean at the beautiful blue water and the pods of whales playing as they migrate past the coast. If your lucky enough, you might score a site that has its own view from the bluff.

A short stroll down one end of the park puts you at Short Point beach which is a beautiful protected beach, great for a day of play with the kids. There is also an off-leash dog reserve there for those that bring the pooch along, which is another good point about the caravan park, they are pet friendly!! 

The town of Merimbula is a Beautiful place to explore. The waterways and foreshores are great for day trips and if the kids are keen you can head to Magic Mountain | Family Fun Park, Merimbula .
