caravan parks

The type of accommodation while travelling with your family will largely be determined by the type of caravan or camper that you have, the age of your children and the time of year that you are travelling. We have found that even though we would love to do more free camping to save money, most of the time its just not possible with our little ones.

For our travels, caravan parks have been our main source of accommodation. We find the kids love all the activities that are on offer at most parks. Also with us having such young kids, they still have day sleeps and having power for the aircon in the van is priceless when its 36deg and above outside. Caravan parks provide a secure, social and fun place where you can leave your van and day trip to all the amazing sights nearby when travelling Australia.

Most caravan parks offer membership deals that are worth looking into before you leave. For a small membership fee to join, they can end up saving you lots of money over the duration of your travels.

We’ve reviewed LOADS of caravan parks across Australia. Click the link below to read more.
