BIG4 RAC EXMOUTH CAPE HOLIDAY PARK

Exmouth is one of our favourite towns around Oz. Its remote, yet it has everything you need, its laid-back and the locals are awesome. Probably the best part though is that it’s the gateway to the Cape Range National Park and everything it has to offer. The camping, the fishing, the snorkelling and the Whale sharks are just a few amazing things to do while your here.

We stay in the BIG4 RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park when we are in Town, Its a fantastic Park with big grassy sites, great amenities and a huge Camp kitchen that’s a great spot to meet other travellers of a night time. For the kids there is a great playground and also a beautiful resort style pool. There’s a wash bay down the back as well which is great to give your rig a clean after a week or so out at the National Park.

We like to stay here before and after we head out to the free camps at Cape Range National Park. Its the perfect place to plan your trip out there and you can stock up on everything you need in town. Its also a good place to get any repairs or serving done on your van or vehicle with some great mechanics in town. There are some friendly Emu’s that stroll around the camp sites, so be sure to keep a look out for them.

This year we headed out to Osprey Bay campground and did 5 nights out there. We had a brilliant time with excellent weather, great snorkelling and heaps of fish off the beach. With day trips to Yardie Creek, Turquoise Bay and the Oyster stacks it was a full on week of sun, sand and adventures for the kids. We Love it here!!

We wish we could holiday here every year, it is the most amazing place and we have not found anywhere around Australia thats the same. It’s a one of a kind destination and we look forward to our next travels here whenever they might be…….
